San Diego Animal Rescues and Nonprofits

  • Farm Animal Refuge — a safe, forever home for almost 100 farm animals in Campo, CA, and offering education on the vegan lifestyle, tours, volunteer hours and volunteer days
  • Lionel’s Legacy — senior dog rescue that rescues senior guinea pigs and chickens, too
  • Orphan Kitten Club — offers rescue and raising of neonate kittens and other animals in need, plenty of educational videos, and Trap Neuter Release to cat colonies in San Diego County
  • Parrot Education & Adoption Center — offers education and adoptions for parrots and small domesticated birds in San Diego County
  • San Diego House Rabbit Society — offers a wealth of rabbit education resources and classes, rabbit adoptions, rabbit boarding, and a store for recommended and safe rabbit supplies where proceeds support rescue efforts
  • Wee Companions — offers small animal adoptions for guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and rats, as well as a store where proceeds support rescue efforts

  • Compassionate Paws Jewelry — Compassionate Paws has donated giveaway prizes to Vegan in San Diego
  • Donna Jean San Diego — Donna Jean has donated many giveaway items and gift cards to Vegan in San Diego, and had graciously allowed us patio space to host our Networking Night events in the past
  • Estasi Massage — Kelly has donated gift certificates to many Vegan in San Diego giveaways over the years
  • Grains — Grains restaurant has donated many gift cards to Vegan in San Diego giveaways
  • Grossmont Center — Grossmont Center has been a wonderful community partner in allowing us to host our monthly First Friday Night Market event in their parking lot, doing a lot of literal heavy lifting to make the event a reality. The GC team rescued First Friday when we were forced to relocate and has helped make this event bigger and better than any of its previous iterations.
  • Kindred — Kindred has donated several gift cards to Vegan in San Diego for giveaways
  • Maya’s Cookies — Maya has donated many giveaway items to Vegan in San Diego since our very first event, and is a sponsor for the first San Diego Vegan Festival
  • Plant Power Fast Food — Plant Power has donated many giveaway items to Vegan in San Diego over the years, and is a sponsor for the first San Diego Vegan Festival
