Vegan in San Diego is currently in need of a Volunteer Coordinator to help with First Friday Night Market and San Diego Vegan Festival. This volunteer will work closely with the VSD Board of Directors to outline volunteer needs, coordinate schedules, set up training, and may be on site to direct volunteers. There is room for evolution and growth for this position, so let’s talk about ideas if you are interested.
First Friday Night Market is Vegan in San Diego’s monthly all-vegan party, currently held at Grossmont Shopping Center in La Mesa. VSD is seeking volunteers to help with set-up and take-down of the event.
San Diego Vegan Festival is VSD’s first full-scale vegfest, scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the County of San Diego’s Waterfront Park in Downtown San Diego. VSD is seeking volunteers to help with set-up, take-down, and during the event.
We can always use assistance with photography and videography, as well as monitoring social media during events.
We are working on ways to make our events more eco-friendly and reduce waste. We will be seeking volunteer to help attendees understand our trash, recycling, composting systems. There is lots of room for development here, and we would appreciate your ideas.
